What is it?

A kit based on a custom PCB board to build your QRP 1:9 UnUn. The kit contains all you need to build your own tiny random wire antenna (PCB, FT50-43 toroid, BNC connector and magnet wire for the toroid). Please note that you will need an antenna tuner to use the antenna on all bands.

This is a kit and needs assembly. You will need to wind the toroid with the magnet wire, solder the toroid and the BNC connector to the PCB board .

The kit contains: 1 PCB 1 female BNC connector 1 FT50-43 ferrite toroid (see also options) Enough magnet wire

The antenna wire mounting holes are suitable for wires up to 1.5mm diameter (with insulation). The holes can be extended with a driller for slightly thicker wires.

Why did you make it?

Working primarily QRP, often portable I wanted to have a minimal system as lightweight as possible. Often, antennas make up a considerable amount of space and weight of the overall system and I looked into ways to minimize this.
