Since building the F8 project board, I have been able to pick up the odd 38P70s. You may be able to find one for your SBC-38P70 project, but if not I am offering a few for sale. These have been tested to the extent that I inserted a 2716 with the clock program and the "HELLO WORLD" display comes up and it seems to be working. While it works with my project board, it is possible that there may still be some unused I/O pins that are not working.

Some of these have all of the sockets populated and some have the top two on each side unpopulated. I think around 1983 when this chip was winding down, Mostek decided they could stop populating the unused EPROM sockets. If you have a preference, let me know.
