This is a store featuring my homemade electronic novelty clocks, made using obsolete electronic tubes, and my kits designed for diy for these clocks.

GPS module option for alternate time & date autoset. Bluetooth module option for wireless control via LightBlue app. This CRT has blue-yellow-green phosphor, which leaves an afterimage. The colors don't look quite the same as the photos, but close. Many other similar CRT types could replace this with only minor modifications, such as 3BP1, 3JP7, 3JP1 and some Soviet types like 8Lo38i and other types. An Oscilloscope Clock made with a 3" round CRT (cathode ray tube). Homemade, not a commercial product. This measures about 5.5" W x 7" H x 12" D. The clear acrylic shroud and the plexiglass base are homemade, custom fitted. The board has pots to adjust vertical & horizontal height/width, focus, astigmatism, brightness, and vertical and horizontal centering. Automatically sets for 50/60HZ. The display alternates every ten seconds between digital and analog style. The display also moves slightly every six seconds to help prevent "burn in" of the CRT. The microcontroller can be exchanged (it is socketed) and all components are replaceable/repairable, as opposed to modern electronic devices which are basically "throwaways". This "old school" tech has been salvaged from obsolescence by marrying it to new digital tech. It is an entirely homemade/handmade product, including the base and shroud, which I thermoform from plexiglass stock, and the firmware the microcontroller is programmed with, which is my own original code. It can be set for 120VAC (U.S. standard) or 240VAC (some other countries.) Obviously, it is a novelty item meant for entertainment only, and since it is homemade, user discretion is strongly advised.
