The kit I have available is a professionally made pc board and the components to populate it, including the ICs and the preprogrammed microcontrollers written with my firmware, and the transformer. A custom enclosure is available for small CRTs. Size customized, please inquire. Please note that the CRT is NOT included with this kit. OSC7.8 uses a toroidal transformer to reduce EMI. This display is drawn as the "century" font style, scanned directly from the font type, instead of the hand drawn numbers in the original design. The video demonstrates what the kit looks like built with a DG7-6 CRT & homemade clear enclosure. CRT is not included with the kit. The enclosure is optional and must be sized for the CRT type. Some CRT types that I have used with this board are:

Many other small relatively low voltage CRTs may work with the kit. The optional high voltage transformer makes it possible to drive some larger CRTs, such as 5UP1, and even 7JP1. A video demonstrating some of the functions can be seen at:

Automatically sets for 50/60HZ. The display alternates every ten seconds between digital and analog style. The display also moves slightly every six seconds to help prevent "burn in" of the CRT. The microcontroller and all chips are in sockets for easy replacement.

It can be set for 120VAC (U.S. standard) or 240VAC (some other countries).
