CanAirIO is a citizen science community using mobile and fixed sensors to measure air quality with cell phones and low-cost technology. This is an Open-Source initiative that uses a ESP32 module and some air quality sensors, interfaced with an Android client app to have fixed (WiFi) or mobile (Bluetooth) air quality stations.

CanAirIO Bike try to motivate collaboration from cyclists or people that use it to have mobile tracks of air quality. We have two new device versions, CanAirIO bike with PM2.5 sensors (Sensirion SPS30) and CanAirIO CO2 (Sensirion SCD30), the latter for sensing the right ventilation in indoors to reduce COVID-19 risk.

Warranty, conditions and destination of use

CanAirIO Bike comes with a limited warranty of 3 months from the moment the device is shipped to the customer.

The Producer (CanAirIO team) warrants that CanAirIO Bike will be free of defect in materials and workmanship. In case of a damaged or defective device, the Producer at its option may decide to replace or repair the device, or to refund the customer for the price paid excluding any shipping costs. If the product is to be repaired or if a new device has to be shipped to the customer, all the shipping cost shall be paid by the customer himself.

The producer shall not be liable for any defects that are caused by neglect, misuse or mistreatment by the Customer, including improper installation or testing, or for any device that have been altered or modified in any way by a Customer.

CanAirIO Bike is not an end user product, it shall be considered as a device for Citizen Science. The operating conditions and safety of those devices are under the direct responsibility of the customer himself.

The Producer may change the specifications and product descriptions at any time, without notice. The producer shall have no responsibility whatsoever for conflicts or incompatibilities arising from future changes to them. The product information on the Web Site or Materials is subject to change without notice.

Customer understand and agrees that CanAirIO Bike is not designed for use in safety-critical applications where a failure of the product would reasonably be expected to cause severe personal injury or death.

This device it is not an end user product. As such it was not put into any testing and it may not comply with some or any technical or legal requirement that are applicable to finished products including, without limitation, directives regarding electromagnetic compatibility, recycling (WEEE), FCC, CE, or UL (except as may be otherwise noted).
