Description:

This sensor is compatible with arduino expansion board. It is a simple moisture sensor that can be used to detect soil moisture. When the soil is hydropenic, the analog value output from the sensor will decrease, otherwise, the value will increase! You can make an automatic watering device with this sensor. The sensor comes with two positioning holes to facilitate the sensor fixed to other devices.

Testing Way

After the programming, connect this sensor with power supply, and the D1 light is on; the window monitor shows as P1 below; when you insert the sensor into soil, the more the humidity is, the bigger the value is(ranging from 0-1023)-shown as P2 below.
