What is it?

These are bright RGB pixels for your project. These high density PCBs are only 17mm x 16mm and have two sets of four holes for soldering wires or header compatible with breadboards too. and as if this was not exciting, you only need 1 pin/wire to control as many ioDots as you like. They are based on WS2812B LED in 5050 package.

The WS2812B are the same integrated LED used in the high brightness LED strips, now you can use them to put lights to your projects. Because they are separated you can place them as you want in the place you want.

The driver chip is inside the LED and has ~18mA constant current drive so the color will be very consistent even if the voltage varies, and no external choke resistors are required making your design minimal. Power the whole thing with 5VDC and you're ready to rock.

Why did you make it?

The projects that have lights are cooler! The problem when we use LED strip is that all the LEDs come together, the idea is to be able to add as many lights we want to our projects and in the place that we want.

What makes it special?
