This is a very small Lora(WAN) node with low power consumption which is Arduino compatible. Its function is to send a message when a button was pressed or it wakes up from an interrupt.
What makes it special?
The board covers an onboard LDO and a voltage divider to get battery readings. The board can be either powered directly from 3.3V regulated power source, in this case the LDO can be disconnected through a solder jumper to not waste energy. You can choose if the onboard voltage divider for battery voltage should be always on, or if you want to control it through a specified pin from the atmega328p. Also you've the choice to measure either the battery voltage or the VCC voltage, depending on how you will power the node.
