What is it?

This device is a small printed circuit board measuring 14×17 cm, equipped with 12 different connectors that allow you to test almost any cable. Conversely, by connecting a known-good cable to this board on one end and to a device on the other, you can check continuity to identify shorts or open circuits. For example, you can determine whether a device is malfunctioning, whether signal pins are shorted to ground, or whether a charging port has failed due to a broken line.

Since this is only the first revision of the board, all measurements must currently be performed using a multimeter, but future versions are planned to automate these tests.

Why did you make it?

I originally created this device as a tool for myself — I often have to repair various devices, and because multimeter probes are relatively large, it’s extremely inconvenient to check connectors using only a multimeter. It’s much more convenient to plug in this adapter board and then take measurements comfortably through the exposed, clearly labeled test points.

What makes it special?

I believe what makes this device special is the quality of its build — I carefully selected only the best connectors available, soldered each one by hand, and built this device primarily for myself. That’s why I truly hope it can be useful to others as well.
