CCS881 (manufactured by AMS), the sensing element integrated in s-Sense CCS811, is an ultra-low power digital gas sensor solution which integrates a metal oxide (MOX) gas sensor to detect a wide range of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) for indoor air quality monitoring.

CCS811 sensor environmental information:

• equivalent CO2 range is 400ppm up to 29206ppm.
• equivalent TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compound) output range is from 0ppb up to 32768ppb.
• ambient temperature range for operation -40 ~ +80C.

s-Sense CCS811 I2C sensor features:

• compatible with Arduino (all), Raspberry PI (all) and other SBC / MCU
• CCS811 WAKE signal is available on PAD6
• CCS811 RESET signal is available on PAD7

• input voltages between 3.3-5V
• I2C interface, 3.3-5V auto - no need for external adapter - [default I2C voltage follows the Vin powering voltage]
