What is it?

To program the the tinyAVR 0/1/2-series you need to use UPDI (Unified Program and Debug Interface).

Why did you make it?

I am currently exploring this range of processors and I needed a programmer . I prototyped on using an arduino nano and used the jtag2updi software.

Works like a treat as if using the famous usbasp programmer.

1 wire interface is much cooler as you need a simple 3 pin connector.

What makes it special?

The board does the job and with 3 pin connection makes it easy to upload sketches.
