The AVR Field Programmer is a standalone programmer - does not require a laptop/pc to program a AVR devices. The board offers a 2 led seven segment display to show the file chosen and two letter status codes as it executes the programing cycle. It can support up to 256 files and can be used to program 5V and 3V3 target devices.

Why did you make it?

I needed a field programmer to program some devices which were scattered in a building. with this board i programmed all devices in a flash. The board features 3 status leds, 2 buttons and encoder to shuffle through the filenames. It uses an sdcard to store the files and is powered by an atmega328P 16mhz processor. The last file selected is stored in EEPROM and is reloaded when the board is powered back up.
