Read More…This board features an AVR ATMega328 and Silicon Labs Si5351A-B-GT LVCMOS Clock Generator which supports 3 outputs and has a frequency output between 0.0025 and 220 Mhz. The ports can be individually programmed for frequency (100 kHz to 225 Mhz), sweep width, and output power control - 2ma - 4ma - 8ma.
I needed a variable clock source to test some filters and my signal generator was limited to H.F. Frequencies. So I designed this board to handle higher frequencies. I used a RC filter to convert the signal to a sine wave.
