What is it?

This board features a DF MP3 Player module which does all the work to play the mp3 / wave files on the sd card. This is controlled by an AVR processor which also controls the OLED Display 128x64. The board has an onboard lithium charge controller and a 4 key keyboard to control the chosen file to play.

Why did you make it?

I was looking for some time to have a mini mp3 player that can play certain files. I needed a small board that could fit in my pocket. I needed to play some audio files when I am in remote places, like camping, near the seaside, etc.

What makes it special?

The board is very compact, it features a stereo output via speakers or headphones. Digital volume control, 7 band equalizer, OLED display shows track being played, time, battery capacity together with busy led, volume level and also a charging indication with two led status.
