Edu-C is a cleverly populated Arduino Uno/Duemilia board. Nothing new, but have a look, it is an interesting combination of leisure, educational and I/O devices. A 200mAh Lipo and charger is included - play many hours or do serious applications, there are extensions facilities.

Games are great to learn realtime C and understand the importance of code optimization and interrupts. There are so many simple examples to get trained on "for", "while" and "switch case" instructions; a beginner needs to be drilled on these before inventing its own games.

The Arduino environment is rich with ideas and example. What you need is a reliable platform with many features. Our choice was not only gaming, but understanding I/O devices. Edu-C has two push-button, two linear pot (much better than one joystick), white and RGB Leds, a 7-segment display with 8 leds in parallel, so you can and an Oled, the simple but clean SSD1306 you will learn how to use at best.

As you see, Edu-C does not compete with an Arduboy full of games; it has similar objectives to the TI Booster pack for technical schools, but it is Arduino, self powered, easy environment, good libraries, plenty of examples to understand the hardware and progress with software.

Didactic documentation has been experimented in French for one year now. Important documents are translated. Check our approach, it is Fun !
