This logic probe is a cheap, versatile and convenient digital test instrument.

Do not confuse with continuity testers or simplified logic analyser. With the logic probe you check in a glance if the critical signals are behaving well. "Strange, that pin should not be floating" – bad solder, wrong set-up?

The Didel Logic Pen works form 2.5 to 5.5V and has 3 leds to show the states. It is using HCMOS logic, does not interfere with the tested signals (200 kOhm input resistance, 5pF capacitance). Power need is below 5 mA. A protection diode is wired in case of bad power connection.
