Features two genuine Texas Instruments ADC's on one I2C bus, each with it's own address (0x48 and 0x49). Each ADS1015 can read one differential channel or two single channels, so in total two differential or four single channels. The ADS1015 has the following data rates: 128, 250, 490, 920, 1600, 2400, or 3300 samples per second (SPS ). The resolution is 12 bits. The ADS1015's support high speed I2C (3.4 MHz) but on an ESP32 400 kHz should be used. The board has 2x 5 screw terminals, with a terminal for each wire of a Split Core Current Sensor, e.g. the YHDC Hall effect sensor HSTS016L. The board is intended for a current sensor with a separate Vref branch half way the coil of the sensor (and differential read out). Of course other split core current sensors as possible, including sensors without Vref (use single ended reading in this case).
Also, any other analogue sensor can be read, as long as it is within voltage range of the ADS1015.
Each screw terminal has the following connections: VDD, ground, Vout, Vref and shield. The shields are connected to each other and to the screw holes (to connect the shield with a shielded enclosure, if needed).
The pin header is not soldered and has +5V (3V3 is also possible for e.g. the ESP32), ground, SCL, SDA and a Ready pin for each ADS1015.
The board works with the standard ADS1x15 libraries that you can find on Github. I will publish an example on how to read out two ADC's on an ESP32 at the 3300 SPS full speed within a few weeks.
I made it because I needed it myself for one of my customers. I made it because I could not find a board with (convenient) screw terminals. I made it because Aliexpress (almost?) always sends you ADS1115 boards when you order ADS1015 and that board is much slower (max 860 SPS). Also, I found out that reading out is slow at max speed (I expect those boards to be clones).
