This board is designed as a breakout board for the Raspberry Pi and has the basic elements to start learning Python. You have two pushbuttons, four diffused led's, a buzzer and a 2x16 display connector. Also, for advanced users, the board includes an I2C connector.

The price do not include the OLED display. Why? Because maybe you don't want an OLED display, or has your own display at home. Or want to put a normal LCD display. OLED displays are great devices, but a bit expensive at this time (check the price at adafruit: https://www.adafruit.com/products/823). If you want, I can send you the price including this kind of display, or an LCD one. Tell me what you need and I can provide what you want!

In my webpage, you can find Python examples over the Raspberry that works fine with the board (http://www.jechavarria.com/2014/10/01/rpi-python-board-board-learn-python-raspberry-pi/). I test in on both B and B+ models and works without problems.

The board is designed for the B model. In the case you use with the B+ model, have in mind that the board will be misaligned, because on B+ model the GPIO position varies. But you can works with it without problems!
