When you need one IR emitter (TX) to directly send IR to another device (RX) but don't want it getting confused with other IR signals in the room or AV rack, this snap-together coupler keeps both devices together and provides easy mounting.

I commonly use these when IR signals from HDbaseT or Matrix switch units need to "repeat" the IR signal to another IR extender or HDbaseT unit and direct-wire converters are more trouble and expense than their worth.

After having electrical tapped countless of these things together in AV racks, I knew there had to be a better way, hence this simple coupler was designed.

Measures 42mm x 16mm not including mounting hole for use in square/round hole racks, or self-tapping screws into wood.
