What is it?

This is the binocular version of the popular BPNVG project originally designed by Stubbs. These goggles feature two RunCam Night Eagle 3 low light FPV drone cams at 11390 mV/Lux-sec and two 2" NTSC/PAL Adafruit displays. The goggles are mountable to any helmet that will accept a Wilcox dovetail. See Hackaday. The sensors used output analog video which offers extremely low latency during video transmission to the displays.

ATTENTION: This unit does not employ gen2,gen3 image intensifier technology and is not regulated by ITAR

Why did you make it?

The BPNVG project was created to provide an economic alternative to night vision solutions employing phosphor image intensifiers. This unit is for folks who don't have the 3D printing capabilities or the electrical engineering proficiency required to complete this project

2x Adafruit NTSC/PAL Displays
Powered Bridge with female DC jack and power button
Housing printed in PETG to offer rigidity and resilience
Can detect IR illuminators and designators
Control Board to adjust camera settings (see User Manual)

Required Parts Not Included

DC Jack Power delivery solution with inside contact diameter of 2.1mm
Wilcox Shoe part no. 14001G01
Wilcox G24 (knockoff from Amazon will work in a pinch)
Any helmet or head mount that will accept a Wilcox G24
