Raspiggy is an interface piggyback board that contains the all the necessary interfacing to connect your Raspberry PI to the real world. So, if you want to build a weather station, control your home or need rock-solid user IO without a HDMI monitor, Raspiggy can provide it.

To do just that Raspiggy offers a lot of interfacing possibilities:

User interaction:

• A Nokia 5110 graphical LCD screen with or without backlight.
• A TSOP382 IR receiver providing all the (input) buttons you need over IR/Lirc.
• A user controllable LED to provide simple feedback.

Sensors:

• DS1820 Temperature sensor.
• 1-wire screw interface to connect all 1-wire devices you want.
• DHTxx module to records temperature and humidity.

Actuators:

• FS1000A module transmitting on 433Mhz to control KlikAan / KlikUit and much more RF based devices
• A user controllable infrared LED to control everything IR capable; TV, HVAC etc. etc.

Raspiggy is the only solution that offers a lot of ready-to-use interface modules on a small and cost effective PCB. Soldering is through-hole so it's easy to assemble it yourself..

Raspiggy comes with a lot of demo and test software and is build using common Raspberry Pi interface libraries and IO methods. All documented extensively so you can tailor it completely to your needs.
