This board was designed as a way to quickly program my Arduino Compatible ATMEGA328P breakout board

This project was inspired by Nick Gammon's project. In fact, 99% of the hard work came from the example code posted there, so check all of that out first.

This custom PCB with the code I provide allows you to do the following:

• Burn AVR fuses

• Load Arduino Bootloader with User Code (your own sketch)

• Read/Write to EEPROM on the target AVR - think about this and what you can do. Write serial numbers, Mac address, unique ID, date code, modes of operation, etc...

• Board can power the target at 3.3V, or target can be self powered

• Protection on all IO lines to target, so if your target boards came from a sketchy manufacturer, the AVR programmer should survive any shorts or defects on the target side.

• Programmed and powered from a standard 5V FTDI header - works nicely with my board
