What is it?

ProgRamen CH340 is a UART/TTL converter that helps your computer talk to devices—whether it’s reading data from sensors or uploading code to microcontrollers like ESP32 or Arduino (Burn bootloader). It works with both 3.3V and 5V logic; just move the jumper, and you’re good to go.

Why did you make it?

Because plain, boring USB programmers are everywhere, and they all look the same. We were tired of them and decided to spice things up with our own version. It's functional, nice and eye-catching :).

What makes it special?

The design. We kept it functional, made it a bit easier to use, and added a touch of author humor — favorite developer soup right on the board. Now you can say you’ve got ramen on your desk at all times!

Personally, as a developer, I really like this board. It wasn’t very hard to create, but when I held it in my hands for the first time, I was thrilled with how it turned out. This is the third version of the module—the first one was black and white but had a mistake (the crystal didn’t work), the second one was in color but had an issue with switching between 3.3V and 5V. Finally, the third prototype came out just the way I wanted it to be.

The price reflects the small production volumes — the more boards we produce, the lower the cost per unit. With your support, we hope to lower prices over time.
