MODBridge by untrol.io simplifies the complexity of the Internet of Things allowing you to connect your existing devices such as temperature, refrigeration, energy and universal controllers to the Cloud, wirelessly.

MODBUS RTU has been around the industry for several years now. It is widely available and thru the years, has collected several compatible devices. Open, flexible and reliable, it's proved to be a trusted Industrial Protocol.

By combining recent technologies with existing ones, I was able to create MODBridge, a device that connects to the existing controller, reading its variables and alarms, forwarding data to the Cloud and allowing way remote access thru the Free App, with Blynk.

MODBrdige comes pre-flashed with firmware ready to read a SDM120 energy meter and a wireless manager to help you insert your wifi credentials and Blynk auth.

To activate the portal, just press the button in front of the unit.

If you're feeling brave and want to write your own firmware, OTA is available and open as well as TX and RX pins exposed. For TX and RX, you'll need one of these: UART TO USB
