Read More…The KS-013 is an array comprised of 8 high current, power MOSFET devices. The device contains open-drain outputs suitable for interfacing low-level MCU pins to high power loads such as lamps, LED strips.
• Eight high current MOSFETs
• Direct connection to Arduino/STM32 MCUs
• Low Rds(on)
• Maximum sink current per MOSFET 3A
• Maximum output of 30V
• DIP24 compatible package
• Provided with 2 x 12 pin, 2.54mm pitch male pin headers (unsoldered)
• 2 x layer with 1oz copper
In designs that use the ULN2804, I often found the current capacity of the ULN was not enough. I made this part to allow a drop-in replacement (for driving non-inductive loads since it has no back-EMF diodes) and increase the sink current capability.
Since this part can sink more current than the standard ULN, I added extra ground pins to sink the current back to the source.
