Read More…The PMOD 16MB Flash module is a breakout board specifically designed to connect to an FPGA development board. This module has a PMOD interface, which is supported on various FPGA boards. All pins on the W25Q128JVSIQ flash chip is broken out onto the headers and pull-up resistors are added to disable write protection and chip reset by default.
This module comes in handy when you need to add storage to your FPGA projects. In fact, I designed this module for my FPGA lab final project in college! Besides FPGA, I also designed the module to be compatible with breadboards. There are 2 additional pins on the outer row so that all pins can be accessed on a breadboard.
