Works well, v1.2 not 1.1, no OLED screen, no off switch

The T-Beam works well as a tracker. Just note you must give it some time with a view of the sky to acquire a GPS lock, especially the first time it is powered up this may take 10 minutes or so.

The board I received was v1.2, not 1.1 as listed. Not an issue, but you need to know as firmware is version specific. As noted, this item doesn't come with the OLED screen; the product photo the includes a screen should probably be removed / updated. It's also a bit inconvenient that the board doesn't include an off switch; once I put in the 18650 it's not easy to stop it.

The github repos give adequate documentation. Shipped quickly and nicely packaged. Thanks!

Nice T-Beam board for Helium Mapping. NO OLED Display!

The TTGO T-Beam v1.1 is the best all-in-one board for Helium network Mapping.
I use this software build https://github.com/Max-Plastix/tbeam-helium-mapper and it runs perfectly on the T-Beam v1.1

This kit does NOT include the 0.96" OLED display that is commonly included with the LilyGo TTGO T-Beam! You must purchase and solder it on separately.

ESP32, LoRaWAN with antenna, GPS with antenna, Bluetooth, two user buttons and a reset, WiFi, 18650 battery holder & charger, all in one package.
The board has a nice AXP192 power manager on it for power control.
All in all, great value, but you can find them for a similar price with an OLED display included in the kit.
