Works great!

The breakout module works great - as expected.
It would be even nicer, if the ESP8266 could be removed from the action breakout board.
(This may not be possible with the SMD version of the board however)
One could then use it to prepare multiple modules for deployment.

Later on I actually thought I could maybe put 2x2.0mm headers close enough so they could have good electrical contacts with the esp8266.
However doing so may involve going with through hole headers as SMT ones wouldn't be positioned well enough.

Great little board - makes experimenting super-easy

I am really impressed with this little board, it's really straightforward yet has some lovely design touches.

The little breadboard is just big enough and together fit really well.

The lack of through hole components means it sits well on my desk too!

The only tiny criticism is the silkscreen for the header pins is very small and could maybe line up with the pins better?

But overall I'd recommend this dev board 100% for anyone who wants to investigate this interesting chip, nice one Mathieu!

Funny you should mention the pinout on the silkscreen... I've spent quite some time trying to find a better way, without success unfortunately.
