This is a General Purpose HA Wifi/Ethernet Sensor Adapter that gives you 16 GPIO pins that can be used for many purposes such as binary sensor input or control of relay boards. It makes it easy to connect a lot of these GPIO devices to 1 ESP32 microcontroller which uses Ethernet or Wifi to interface with home assistant. I have written custom firmware that is open source on Github and easily interfaces this device with home assistant via MQTT. My firmware has features such as input identification, a browser bases user interface, and gpio labeling via the interface. You can also install ESPHome firmware although adding add-on boards with addition GPIO's are limited last I tested with ESPHome.

16 GPIO can act as binary input or output to trigger things such as an led or relay. ** These GPIO can be accessed via the screw terminals or the 4 RJ45 ports which use each twisted pair as 1 GPIO 1 on board relay that supplied 12V (designed to attach a siren) 3 on board buttons you can assign as needed.

This newer version of the board runs on 12V DC and can be power by an Active POE Adapter such as this one.

I created this board as a simple interface between Home Assistant and the alarm wiring that was left in my house after the main security system board was removed. With this you can interface those sensors or new ones and use Home Assistant to control automations or even acts as your security system as I do. I documented my initial build on the firmware for my first rack mounted board on my Github.

I have also created an add-on board to add an additional 16 GPIO and another that adds 12 GPIO ports and 4 dry contact relays Which I use to control my sprinkler system.
