Description

• Single cell Lithium-ion/Polymer fuel gauge based on On Semiconductor LC709203F.
• Parameters available : Cell Voltage, Cell Temperature, Relative State of Charge (RSOC), etc. For more details please see Datasheet.
• Compatible with 5.0V and 3.3V I2C Signal.
• On board thermistor for cell temperature monitoring.
• Dimension 1.676 x 0.762 and yes! it's in cm.

How to program?

• The board uses I2C interface to interact with the host.
• For connection interface with the host please see LC709203F datasheet (Page No. 2 to be precise).
• For Arduino compatible boards use this library : Adafruit. You can install directly from Arduino IDE library manager.
• Finally, follow the example code and you are good to go.

Thermistor B value

• LC709203F requires the B value of the thermistor for monitoring cell temperature.
• This board uses Panasonic ERTJ1VR103H thermistor, the B values are : B(25/50) = 4250K and B(25/85) = 4300K. For more details please see datasheet.
• See example code in the library to know how to insert the B value.

Battery Requirements

• Any single cell Lithium-ion/polymer battery pack will work.
• I advise not to use unprotected lithium-ion cell, unless you know what you are doing.

Your Order

• Fully assembled board with soldered 3-pin dupont and battery connector (2-pin JST). See one of the image for reference.
• 2.5cm heat shrink sleeve.
