What is it?

Plug a phone line into the Phone Relay Controller and it can call numbers and answer incoming calls! It also has a relay on board to control a light or other device.

Why did you make it?

The Phone Relay Controller was built to control a hot tub at a vacation house. By calling the phone a couple hours before, the hut tub could heat up by the time we arrived. However, this is only one application. The Phone Relay Controller can also make calls, and talk into the phone using (limited) speech synthesis, for home automation purposes.

What makes it special?

I can custom program the Phone Relay Controller to operate the relay based on certain conditions. It can also call a number directly based on certain conditions. Please contact me with any questions!

Please note this is a hand soldered device, and works with 120VAC. It must be installed with care! I am still learning about electronics but I have several industrial control devices running successfully. This device has been thoroughly tested but needs to be programmed for its specific application. The $150 includes custom programming. Again, please contact me with any questions!
