Important Update: I'm currently not offering this in kit form due to the increasing demand for fully built units. By having me build it, you benefit from my experience and the refinements I’ve made, such as sealed, glued heat-shrink and rugged, secure connections to the high-quality 3.5mm tail (check out the photos!). I’m currently reviewing pricing based on demand and bulk component ordering. Stay tuned—I’m hoping to lower the cost soon!

Why Fully Built? My main motivation for offering this key, designed by VK3IL, is to provide a rugged, winter-friendly key for the community. While it does cost a bit more for my time (sorry about that!), you’re getting something robust and ready to go. Sure, you can source the parts and make it yourself for less, but that’s not everyone’s idea of fun! For those considering a kit, VK3IL’s page lists a European supplier—though in my opinion, the parts they use aren’t quite up to the quality I offer. Just sayin’. Connection Options

I currently offer several connection setups:

Integrated 3.5mm jack cable: Great for forgetful types! The cable is built in, so you won’t accidentally leave it behind.
3.5mm female socket: Perfect if you want a more packable setup and prefer to use your own 3.5mm aux cable.
GX12 connector: Ideal for Lab599 TX500 users. Heads up—if you choose this option, I’ll need to remove the 3.5mm plug (and essentially waste it), so you’re paying for both.

Personally, I recommend the integrated 3.5mm cable for its simplicity: the key and lead stay together, and you’ve got one less thing to remember.

Fantastic compact touch-sensitive portable Morse paddle key

This Morse dual-paddle key is compact, well-built and works like a charm. It's really lightweight so ideal for portable operations. The paddles are sensitive to the lightest touch and work flawlessly when tested with the K3NG keyer and iCOM IC-705 transceiver.

I purchased the fully assembled paddle key. It was shipped quickly, and arrived well packaged, protected in bubble-wrap.
