What is it?

LoRaWAN Node working with TheThingsNetworks.org. It is a Temperature, Humidity and Pressure sensor node. This node can send sensor data vie LoRa to the TheThingsNetwork.

Why did you make it?

During Covit-19 widespread and your family need to stay at home, why not create a learning lab in your home for your family. This learning breadboard can fulfill your on-line learning by allowing anyone to have real hands-on practice of LoRaWAN technology. Just plug in USB cable to ESP32 and start programming MicroPython or C++.

What makes it special?

We already installed MicroPython on the ESP32 Dev Board and also 5 other examples in flash memory. So, it is ready to run as a LoRa node.

Ready to use product without waiting to order from difference sources. Start learning immediately after receiving this product. Watch your sensor data on OLED or see your data on TTN web page.

Everything is on the breadboard without soldering, future modification is easy.

Prerequisite Equipment

To see your Dashboard data, you need a LoRaWAN Gateway. If there are not any LoRaWAN gateways available nearby your home, please consider making one or buying one. We recommend you to take a look at Dragino Multichannel Gateway, LG308. It is easy for novice users to get started.

Quick Start Guide.

Plug in USB cable.
Start Thonny application.
Select Tools/Option/Interpreter/Port as Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COMx)
Putting Device Into Flash Mode
- A 2.2uF Capacitor will make auto flash more reliable. If Auto Flash does not work, you may do it manually.
- Manual Flash ESP32 NodeMCU by pressing and holding IO0 while press EN one time, them release IO0.
