This is a nice low-cost addition to your scope accessory arsenal for cases when the stock probes of a cheap oscilloscope just can't do the job.

Usage

The probe is designed to be soldered to the device under test. The wires should be as short as possible (aim for less than 10 mm) to not increase input capacitance. Connect the probe to your test equipment (scope, VNA, whatever) and supply power to the probe (5 - 16 V, 50 mA). The probe as such has 1:10 attenuation, 1:20 with 50 Ohm termination. As it is AC coupled, it will not show any DC signals below 100 kHz or so.
