NO digital processing of incoming signal like FFT of external chips. The ESP32 is used to visualize the filtered signals by driving a webserver and Pixel LEDS like WS2812 and alike. The webserver is used to display a real time analyzer that can be displayed by visiting the html page of the esp32 webserver.
The story Behind the product My first analyzer was build around the MSGeQ7 chip. This chip is hard to find as there are many non working fakes available. So I moved on to FFT, using a ESP32. Although FFT has shown me great result, it's digital and not as accurate as good old fashion analog processing. This PCB was designed to be used with a desktop version of my acrylic spectrum analyzer and the number of channels is limited to 10. That way, the PCB wouldn't become to big or expensive. If you are looking for more channels, take a look at my other pcb's in the store. My FFT version goes up to 64 channels. However, if you are looking for a smaller version this PCB is right for you!
Specifications - 10 channels : 30,30,125, 250,500,1000,2000,4000,8000,16000Hz - Line input, mic input - Tested 180 pixel leds, more leds possible - Webinterface with real time analyzer - All SMD components assembled and included as option. (You only need to add and mount the trough hole components.) - PCB only without components is available - Several patterns available - Autochange patterns option - Falling time of peak adjustable - input sensitivity adjustable - Brightness adjustable - Source code available.
Documentation The project is fully documented. There is a manual that explains how the hardware and software work. I made all sources hard- and software, open source. Any info that is lacking here can be found on github.
MAKE SURE YOU ORDER CORRECT VERSION! Attention: There is a version that has all SMD components pre-assembled, you will only need to add a few through hole components like connectors, switches, potmeters,ESP32 and fuse. The PCB only version has no components. It's just a PCB. You will need skills to solder the SMD components. This is not recommended if you are new to this kind of work. If you order the wrong version, you can not exchange!

When possible, I will always ship using a track n trace number. It's a bit more expensive but we'll never have a discussion about packages getting lost. Having a full time job, mailing everyday is not possible. I make it a habit to send out the ordered goods within 2 working days.
