ISA sound card emulation on the Raspberry Pi Pico's RP2040 microcontroller. This PicoGUS version can resemble:
Gravis Ultrasound (GUS) - the primary focus of PicoGUS, hence the name
AdLib (OPL2)
Tandy 3-voice
CMS/Game Blaster*
#### Why did you make it?
There are a high number of PC computer users that have uncommon form factor computer cases, where traditional ISA sized sound cards can´t be used.
This version of PicoGUS is designed intentionally to be an all-in-one solution; its size is the smallest as possible, only 81 mm (width) x 49 mm (height), a very low profile
It provides standard 8 bit ISA edge connector and PC/104 connector at once, in the same piece of hardware!
You can acquire one of these, and use it in your tiny single board computer, or in your full sized standard one.
#### What makes it special?
Tiny size, full compatibility with PicoGUS project, and its low price for fully assembled and tested units.
The small size also helps the delivery in any part of the world, taking into account the most demanding courier systems of some specific countries, that present problems for medium to huge sized packets.
As well, the RP2040 controller is provided in a detachable manner, in order to replace it easily, update it manually, or use the RP2040 for another purposes.
The Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller is provided, this is a fully assembled product.
In order to facilitate the usage, a series of accesories are provided, such jack audio extensor for PC/104 users, and/or full-sized or half-sized metal bracket with a jack audio extensor, illustrated at photographs.
