Expansion board for the Heltec AB02 LoraWan module (https://heltec.org/project/htcc-ab02/).

I made this to solve the the primary issue of external power detection and the lack of a logic signal on GPIO5 that could be used for interrupt wake-up from deep sleep. In addition to the external power detection, the board provides a dedicated locking "grove" connector for the second I2C bus.

Connector for I2C bus is an HC-HY-4AWT - 1x4P 1 2mm Male pin 4 -25℃~+85℃ 2A Surface Mount SMD,P=2mm Wire To Board / Wire To Wire Connector ROHS. See attached manufacturer data sheet. Pairs with Grove Cable (JST style 2.0mm pitch) 4pin female used on many I2C sensors.

Additional connections/header locations are also provided (but not populated) for:

-Serial0

-Serial1

-VS "Solar" connection with GND

-Header points for GPIO6 and GPIO7

NOTE: Product ships with headers (qty. 2) NOT soldered to board. If you wish the headers to soldered, please specify. I will solder small quantities only. Board appearance may vary as updates are incorporated. Functionality will remain identical from version to version.
