What is it?

Blank PCB for my Attiny Fuse Repair Programmer. All necessary code and instructions are included with this purchase.

Why did you make it?

When programming Attiny devices, it is very easy to program the wrong fuse values, usually rendering the device useless or bricked. I couldn't keep throwing these bricked devices in the garbage because they are costing me too much $$!

When I am looking forward to test my new code and I am down to my last Attiny device, if it becomes bricked when programming I am going to have to purchase a new device, pay shipping cost and wait 3 days for the shipment to arrive. There has to be a better (easier) way.

I needed a simple method for repairing the device without having to use my expensive universal programmer.

When designing this programmer back in 2008, my main focus was simplicity. You do not need a computer to repair your Attiny devices. Please refer to the device list here. No fiddling with USB drivers or windows programs, just insert your Attiny device in one of the sockets, plug it in and that's it!

I soon figured out that this is a valuable tool that I simply must have when programming Attiny devices. Because of its simplicity and portability, this programmer is indispensable. I use it all the time.
