What is it?

Pi Rtc Dio adresses the two most desired additions for the Raspberry Pi

• 32 additional digital I/O
• Real Time clock

Due to the limited current available from the Raspberry Pi’s 3.3v rail, Pi Rtc Dio also provides on-board voltage regulation from the Pi’s 5V supply to 3.3V, allowing up to 600mA to be drawn.

PiRtcDIO is sold as a full kit, you will have to assemble it yourself

Why did you make it?

PiRtcDio is perfect for hobbyists and tinkerers as it allows you to add 32 digital I/O's with each board, and up to four boards per Pi.

PiRtcDio also has a handy prototyping area to add some of your circuits.

What makes it special?

LOTS of I/O + RTC + Prototyping area all in one!

You can stack up to four PiRtcDio boards on any model Raspberry Pi for a total of 128 digital I/O's, but you can only populate the RTC section on one PiRtcDio.
