What is it?

This is an acrylic laser-cut enclosure I designed for the Raspberry Pi 4 or Pi 3. It comes with a 30mm 5VDC fan and all hardware to assemble it (does not come with Raspberry Pi). Available in a variety of colors!

Why did you make it?

The enclosure is a similar construction to my original enclosure for the Pi 4 but in this design, I've moved the top-mount fan to the rear of the enclosure to maximize the free space above the Pi. As a result, this enclosure is 12mm longer than the original. I've also tweaked the front plate so that it is reversible and included an alternate side panel to accommodate the Pi 3 Model B+ (see photo examples of assembly with either the Pi 3 or Pi 4).

What makes it special?

The aluminum standoffs are outside the enclosure so that they don't interfere with any internal devices or circuits you may have cobbled onto your Pi The exterior screws are counter-sunk to give a nicer aesthetic The 30mm fan is located at the rear of the enclosure to make the most room possible above the Pi for any additional electronics while still maintaining the 1.5" (interior) height. A notch cut into the bottom plate allows for insertion/removal of the micro-SD card without disassembly. Includes 4 adhesive silicone rubber feet that give the enclosure some grip to your table.

Raspberry Pi 4 is not included and only shown for reference.
