MothSynth is an ultra-portable music making platform based on ESP32 / PCM5201 and powered by opensource MothOS software.

MothSynth is a keychain-sized music-making device powered by the ESP32S3 and PCM5201 DAC, running on the open-source, Arduino-compatible MothOS. The default software supports 4-channel polyphony, 2 drum banks (with 24 samples), and 10 instruments. We created MothSynth out of our love for electronic music. Our goal was to provide an ultra-affordable, super-fun, and easy-to-use platform for creating, experimenting, and tinkering with sound.
