What is it?

It's a PCB for making Genesis / Megadrive games, with on-board save or without. Supports ROM sizes 16mbit - 32mbit, using 27c160 and 27c322 chips.

This is the fixed revision that works fine with saving on big 32mbit games.

Stuff that you need

2x 10k resistors
1x 1k resistor
2x 1N4148 signal diodes
4x 0.1uf ceramic cap
1x 22uf electrolytic cap
1x 2N7000 N-Channel MOSFET, TO-92
1x 74LS139 OR 74HC139 DIP Package
1x 74LS74 OR 74HC74 DIP Package, Only needed for 32mbit games that have a save feature
1x 2032 battery with solder legs, most 2032 holders are supported but all doesn't fit height wise
1x SRAM 62256, 256k 8bit wide 5volt, both wide and slim packages are supported
1x 27c160 or 27c322 preprogrammed with game rom

Works with Sonic3Complete.

I was skeptical this was compatible with some games that use FRAM. I'm very happy to confirm it works. Seller was great with communication. PCB is overall excellent. Documentation is good, listed compatible ICs and passives are everything you need. Not all through-hole battery holders are a good match, some are too tall to fit inside a plastic cartridge shell. Stick to surface mount CR2032 battery holders.
