Born out of a discussion on Groups.io (thanks all) these extender cards were made to replace the original (and hard to find) Marconi parts. Alignment and testing of this venerable test set is almost impossible without being able to run the pcb's lifted clear of the chassis. Hence the need for an extender.

These have gold-plated contacts and just need a suitable connecter fitted to the top (I have one connector that I can add to one order). It also helps to make a guide, bolted to the cards, that aligns with the card slots in the chassis. (Note that each card has its connector a different offset, so the guide needs to be made to slide sideways a little.)

My own version has been used successfully for alignment.
