The Atmega328p Breakout Board is a small circuit board that's meant to shrink down your project from an Arduino Uno.

Breaks out all 14 digital I/O pins, 6 analog input pins, and reset pin of the Atmega328p-pu microcontroller into organized rows
Power LED indicator
Small size, measuring in at just 5.0cm x 2.1cm
Advanced users can utilize the FTDI or 6-pin ISP header to program the microcontroller directly on the board. Otherwise, simply slip in your programmed Atmega328p microcontroller into the socket from your Arduino Uno.

Quality parts, not exactly what I expected

This is a high-quality board and a good set of components. For some reason I didn't realize when I ordered a few of them that some of the components are surface-mount, which made it significantly more complicated to assemble than I expected. Re-reading the listing now, it's pretty explicit about the SMD parts so I don't know how I overlooked that. Assembly instructions beyond a photo on the product page may have helped here.

If you haven't done SMD soldering before and want to experience it, this is a nice inexpensive way to cut your teeth. If you don't enjoy working with SMD parts, you'll want to go with a larger/more expensive break-out that uses through-hole parts. I've done some SMD before this kit but it was mostly larger components like LED's, and the capacitors in this kit are considerably smaller than anything I've tried to solder before (about 1/4 the size of a grain of rice).

Nice firm PCB

Great stuff. I really like these boards like this. This particular one is extra firm (extra firm and thick PCB) so it doesn't look cheap. Thank you for this!
