What is it?

Robot chassis kit to build ROS1/ROS2/Arduino/Raspberry robot. MIKRIK V2 was inspired by my Hackster project based on a MIKRIK V1 robot. MIKRIK V2 includes all the best from my first version, adding a transparent design, and improved layout ergonomics. Chassis is driven by 1:160 DFRobot FIT0450 DC-motors with the encoders having resolution 1920 pulses/per wheel revolution.

Robot has 3 decks: Bottom deck is designated for batteries Middle deck for main control board, with the 1/4‑20 UNC camera mounting point. Top deck for RPLidar A1/A3 with the designated holes.

Why did you make it? I wanted to build a robot chassis easy-to-use, suitable for a wide DIY research, and university study applications.

What makes it special? Chassis made from solid and shatterproof plastic. It is not a cheap acrylic that can easily. My robot can handle very rough and heavy use-cases. Don't worry about wall hits or falling down the stairs. Plastic can bend well and is very flexible. Also straight from the box robot can carry Realsense camera and Rplidar A1/A3 laser scanner. Middle deck was designed to carry NUC or any other SoC development board.

On request I add for free a basic plate for your board. It is a 3mm sheet plastic plate for Raspberry/LattePanda/Radxa and etc.

Note: Realsense camera and Rplidar shown on photos are not included in the kit. They are shown only for usage example. Kit will be delivered pre-assembled, you will only need to install wheels and you are ready to go.
