What is it?

It is a Digital Readout adapter which takes linear Glass scales or magnetic scales and send the reading over Bluetooth to any device which can use the data. Currently tested with TouchDRO Android App (amazing app so no real need to invent and try anything else thanks Yuriy).

Why did you make it?

I made it for one simple reason that I could not find any adapter which can take any combination of linear glass and/ or magnetic scales. All available adapters that I know of only use one type or the other bat can not combine them.

What makes it special?

The use of any combination of linear glass and/ or magnetic scales. It is controlled by FPGA which offers high reliability of readings at very high speeds.

The price is for assembled board only I have 3d printed enclosure for it so can print it out for you or send STL file. When ordering you have to specify number of inputs, type and for magnetic linear scales if you want them to go to mini USB or DB9 (made this option since I always have issue with unreliable connections on chinese magnetic scales readouts). Power in is through USB mini or USB micro (but NOT both) and power out absolute max 1A(eg. to charge tablet) is USB A.
