The N1 Proto Board is a convenient prototyping board that supports an Arduino UNO or clone on one side (NOT INCLUDED) and a half-sized breadboard (INCLUDED) on the other. Above, Technic-compatible holes await your next project—or maybe you can mount the board ON a Lego robot. This hole spacing is also compatible with certain aluminum building sets, including Makeblock and Tetrix. The best feature is the big hole in one corner. It lets you hang the board on a wall hook so your breadboarded circuit doesn’t get wrecked.

In the kit you’ll get the Proto Board, a half-sized solderless breadboard, #4-40 screws to mount the Arduino as well as rubber feet so the board doesn’t scratch up the work surface. I lazered the boards out of 1/8” thick Baltic Birch, a really beautiful pale wood used for many DIY projects.

Note that the board you’ll get is unpainted. I just painted the ones in the photos with ordinary spray paint. Think of this as an opportunity to sexy up your prototyping experience!
