The MIDI-THRU board converts UART to MIDI, and MIDI to UART. It also serves as a MIDI-THRU splitter, taking one MIDI_IN and providing four MIDI-OUTs.

While there are similar shields available online, they often lack an output driver, which is not a big problem in small projects, but potentially, a source of failures.

This board INCLUDES the output driver, offering the extra reliability you can depend on.

I designed this while working on an Arduino MIDI Controller.

SPECIAL FEATURE: You don't need Arduino or other MCU to use the module, it works as 4 channel midi splitter when the TX and RX pins are shorted together.
