nanoESC

This is a small ESC (Electronic Speed Controller), for brushed motors. It's intended use is for indoor airplanes.

Why did I make it?

Small brushed ESCs are hard to come by, and the small ones I tested, just did not work that good, or were too heavy. This ESC weighs around 0.2 grams (my scale only has 0.1grams resolution), and can drive a continuous current of 3A.

Technical details

The MCU is an ATTiny4, it runs custom firmware written in assembler (gnu-as) and consumes 278 words of flash. Resolution is 5 bits, which means there's 32 steps. The motor is driven by a 4KHz software PWM.
