The 0.96 inch OLED I2C display has a resolution of 128x64 pixels. It is high-contrast and can be connected directly to the I2C bus with just four connections thanks to the integrated display controller SSD1306. The display features innovative OLED technology. OLED doesn't need an elaborate backlight like some LCD displays. With OLEDs, the pixels are directly stimulated to light up. By resoldering the "address resistor" (4,7kΩ, Pos R11 to R12) on the back, the display can be switched from address 0x3C to address 0x3D. Don't be misled by the fact that the addresses 0x78 and 0x7A are printed there. For the Arduino you need to divide the addresses by 2. This allows you to operate 2 displays in parallel without using an additional I2C multiplexer.

We offer these monochrome displays in the colors white, blue, yellow and yellow-blue. Please note that the yellow-blue display has a gap of one pixel in height between the two color areas.
To program the 0.96 inch OLED I2C display, you need the two libraries Adafruit SSD1306 and Adafruit GFX and the Wire-library for the I2C interfacewhich you can download and install using the Arduino software.

Das 0,96 Zoll OLED I2C Display hat eine Auflösung von 128x64 Pixels. Es ist kontrastreich und kann dank des integrierten Display-Controllers SSD1306 mit nur vier Verbindungen direkt mit dem I2C-Bus verbunden werden. Das Display verfügt über die innovative OLED Technologie. OLEDs benötigen keine aufwändige Hintergrundbeleuchtung, wie etwa LCD-Displays. Bei OLEDs werden die Pixel direkt zum Leuchten angeregt. Durch Umlöten des "Adress-Widerstands" (4,7kΩ) auf der Rückseite, kann das Display von der Adresse 0x3C auf die Adresse 0x3D umgestellt werden. Lassen Sie sich nicht davon beirren, dass dort die Adressen 0x78 und 0x7A aufgedruckt sind. Für den Arduino müssen Sie die Adressen durch 2 teilen. So können Sie 2 Displays parallel betreiben, ohne einen zusätzlichen I2C-Multiplexer einzusetzen.
